Le Carnaval des Animaux (The Carnival of the Animals) is a suite of fourteen movements by French Romantic composer Camille Saint-Saens (1835-1921). Saint-Saens allowed only one movement, Le Cygne (The Swan) to be published in his lifetime. Originally for cello accompanied by two pianos, our arrangement uses a hammered dulcimer to sing the swan's song while gilding over the waters portrayed by a guitar and second hammered dulcimer.
